A well-designed logo is increasingly important in our brand conscious, visually sophisticated world. A successful brand identity, which includes the name, the logo (various combinations of type and graphics), color or colors, and sometimes a tagline and other elements, reaches your target market at both a conscious and a deeper, subliminal level. It communicates your desired message and becomes quickly recognizable and memorable.

Getting Started
The process of creating a logo is a fascinating collaboration. I’ll be working closely with you to get to the heart of your business message. The process starts with a meeting, either in person or by phone. I ask you to bring examples to the meeting (or send them)—of logos, colors, art, and whatever has the look and feel you might like for your own logo. It is also helpful to see logos of other similar enterprises. Together we decide on the objectives of your new logo—what you want to “say,” to whom (we’re defining your market), and more or less how (specific design elements to include or exclude). Clarity and flexibility are both important at this exploratory stage. Another important factor is your commitment to the process. This will be a give-and-take, back-and-forth that is most successful when you are prepared to give timely, engaged feedback consistent with our agreed objectives. It’s also fun and satisfying to take this creative journey together.
The Finished Product
After all the revisions and fine tuning, you will be able to sign off on your finished logo. At that point it will be ready to be applied in whatever way you require from a business card to a large sign. You will also have access to your logo in several file formats that can either be brought into your own Word documents, used online, or sent out to advertising or other printing venues.
